Extending the Power of SAP to the Mobile Workforce
Foster City, CA (05/10/04) – Synactive, a leading developer of customizing and simplification solutions for SAP (NYSE: SAP), announces the availability of GuiXT Mobile, the SAPGUI for CE and PocketPC. GuiXT Mobile offers unprecedented mobility and flexibility to organizations who want to provide their field staff the ability to access R/3 in the field using mobile devices. The product will be showcased at the SAPPHIRE ‘04 conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 11-13, 2004.
With GuiXT Mobile, sales, service, warehouse, and other mobile staff can now use their hand-held devices to complete complex R/3 transactions. Traditional business processes such as order entry, shipment planning, production planning, warehouse management, and status tracking and analysis can all be accomplished right from the users’ hand-held device. GuiXT Mobile is designed to operate on Pocket PC and CE devices, without the need for a browser-based client.
