Title: Investment Management Lite: A unique approach to managing capital spend
Speaker: Dave Nelsen, PacifiCorp
Date: Wednesday, June 16, 2010

PacifiCorp was using SAP's IM module for planning and budgeting capital spend, and although they tried to customize the SAP layout as much as possible it still didn't do exactly what they wanted. On top of that, PacifiCorp had many casual SAP R/3 users and approvers with very limited R/3 experience, which led to an increase in screen input errors and incomplete project set ups.

Dave Nelsen, Manager SAP Functional Support at PacifiCorp will tell you how he was able to build a solution, using GuiXT, that would create a more user friendly process in addition to improved data validation and control.

  • SAP History
